"Redwood City Through Your Lens" Contest Runs Now through Dec. 17
with Chances to Win Fun Prizes
REDWOOD CITY, CALIF.-In honor of Redwood City's sesquicentennial in 2017, the City has launched a photo contest to celebrate our 150th year of life with the community.
Now through Dec. 17, 2017, people who work, live and play in Redwood City are invited to take part in our "Redwood City Through Your Lens" photo contest.
Participants can snap and enter up to 10 photos a month taken anywhere in Redwood City for the contest through Dec. 17, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. To officially enter the contest participants must use#ThroughMyLens,tag the City of Redwood City in your photos on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and follow the official City of Redwood City account on the social media platform they are submitting through. When entering photos, participants should make sure their photos are public so they can be received by the contest organizer. Go here for more information on how to enter and the official rules.
Ten contest winners will be selected at the end of 2017. Winners will receive a prize, be recognized online and in person at an early 2018 City Council meeting, and their photo will be displayed at City Hall for 150 days in the beginning of 2018.
Prizes to include restaurant certificates, theater tickets, gift certificates and more. Businesses interested in donating prizes can contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Businesses that donate will be recognized online.
